Teeth Whitening

Due to our consumption of a variety of foods and drinks (soda, spicy food, coffee, etc.) teeth stains are inevitable . Using advanced teeth whitening technology Doctor Vitucci can now whiten teeth without adversely affecting the tooth structure.

Almost all whitening methods are similar. Because of the way the whitening material is delivered to the teeth some are much more effective than others. Another contributing factor is the concentration of the whitening material. This is why less potent over-the-counter whitening systems usually don’t give patients the results they are hoping for.

In tray whitening, Doctor Vitucci takes an impression of your teeth and makes a custom tray to perfectly fit you. Then, you are given a supply of whitening gel to place in the custom tray while you wear it for a few hours each day until an acceptable result is achieved. Sensitivity of the teeth is a normal side-effect of this whitening method and is almost always transitional.

Veneers and Laminates

With veneers and laminates a thin shell of porcelain or resin is bonded to the surface of the teeth. This can change their shape, shade, and position to improve the cosmetics of your teeth and smile. They are also used to replace and restore any lost tooth structure where indicated. This is a great way to quickly get that beautiful smile.

Dr. Vitucci will do a complete examination of your teeth to determine if veneers are ideal for you. Veneers often provide the opportunity to dramatically enhance the shape of your teeth, make your teeth as white as you want, and give you the smile you have always desired

Veneers are considered one of the most conservative cosmetic treatments available since they are very thin. Most of the time, very little or no tooth structure is removed before placing veneers.

Cosmetic Tooth Colored Fillings

Unsightly metal fillings can make an otherwise perfect set of teeth look unattractive. Fillings are now specially designed to match the natural color of the tooth. Directly-bonded, tooth-colored resin fillings  make a tooth look like new, whether they are used for small areas of decay or to replace current fillings.
